Moonlight Backpackers Lodge is very different to the average backpackers lodge in South Africa. The lodge is a game farm situated close to Hartbeespoort, in the valley below the magnificent Magaliesberg mountains. Here we have a variety of very rare and exotic wildlife, such as golden wildebeest, black impala, hartswater springbuck, sable antelope, nyala and many more animal species.

Moonlight backpackers lodge is only an hour from Johannesburg, half an hour from Pretoria, and an hour from Sun City and Pilanesberg national park. The De Wildt cheetah centre is only 21 kilometers from us.
